Share a link with tldr. The summary opens in your browser.

Add Shortcut

Open the link on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Select “Add Shortcut” in Apple’s Shortcuts app.

iOS · iPhone and iPad

  1. Touch and hold a link, then select “Share…”. In Safari, you can also use the Share button.
  2. Scroll down in the share sheet and tap “tldr”. The summary starts automatically.

macOS · Mac

  1. Open the web page in Safari. Click the Share button: the square with an arrow that points up.
  2. Select “Shortcuts”, then “tldr”, and click “Share”. The summary starts automatically.

Is “Shortcuts” missing? Search System Settings for “Extensions” and enable “Shortcuts” under “Sharing”.
